The young Towers journeyed over to Yorkshire earlier to take on Tod in the cup semi final.

Batting first, we amassed a par total of 89 with Ben Hall top scoring (32*) supported by good knocks from Farny, Toby and Tobias.

In reply, our hosts were pegged back by a combination of hostile bowling and progressive fielding positions orchestrated by team supremo Azzy.

With 10 runs required off the last 2 balls victory looked certain until a Rambo bouncer was despatched over the school. Perhaps getting a bit giddy, the batter completely missed his last ball sending the Darreners into the cup final.
